I saw this old photo of Restall and Sons. Does anyone know what they sold and when they stopped trading? Has this building always been a shop? Also I have read about "The Manor of Denmead" does anyone know where it was situated and are there any remains?

The Manor of Denmead, I think was Ashling House, our house is reported to be in the orchard of the house and it stand on the corner of Ashling Park rd and Southwick rd Some of the boundry wall still stands along Southwick rd. Restalls was the village General store, John Withers who still lives in the village worked there and knows all the history. It closed when Onestop came to the village.
