2. Declarations of Interest
Arising from this Agenda, Members and Officers are invited to declare any relevant interests. Notwithstanding this item, Members may subsequently declare an interest at any point during the meeting.
3. Minutes of Previous Meeting
To receive and confirm the accuracy of the Minutes of the Meeting held on the 8 June 2010 (previously issued).
4. Public Participation (S.O 68)
The meeting will recess for not more than 15 minutes so as to allow any members of the public to address the meeting.
5. Correspondence:
(a) There is no correspondence to receive.
6. Committee Responsibilities
(a) An update to Committee responsibilities has been previously circulated to Committee Chairmen. To consider any further update and to accept the update and recommend acceptance to Full Council
7. Closure of NatWest Denmead:
(a) To receive any update and consider and determine action.
8. Parish Council’s Website
(a) To consider and determine any matters arising.
9. The Barn
(a) To receive any update regarding the Deed of Variation.
10. Refurbishment of the Parish Office Entrance
The refurbishment of the Parish Office Entrance is planned to start in the last week of July and be undertaken by Community Payback. The work will include painting of the emulsion and gloss surfaces and steam cleaning of the carpets. Much of the cost will be met by the DCA with grant funding. The DCA has asked Council to consider a contribution for its element of materials. To consider and determine action.
11. Finance
(a) June 2010 Accounts (previously circulated): To note that the June 2010 accounts have been prepared. To note
(b) Orders for Payment (S.O.40): Consider and approve the Orders for Payment (previously circulated).
(c) Subscription: To receive a report and recommendation from the Clerk (copy attached) regarding the current level of subscriptions. To consider and determine action.
(d) Asset Register: To receive the asset register and to review the current life of the assets and determine in which year to replace, and to incorporate this into the 3 year forecast.
(e) 3 Year Forecast: To receive any update from Chairman of Committees on the 3 year forecast of income and expenditure. To consider and determine any actions.
(f) Investment of temporary surplus funds
Surplus funds sit in the Current Account and earn 0.05% interest. A better return is available elsewhere. A report showing the monies invested to date and the products and return available is attached. To consider and determine action.
(g) Grant request from the Scouts
A formal application for funding to repair the roof on the scout hut has now been received. To consider and determine the application and to allocate funds as necessary.
12. Any other report which the Chairman deems urgent – NO DECISIONS can be made.
13. Exempt Business
To pass a resolution in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 to exclude the public and press for discussion re personnel or confidential matters where publicity might be prejudicial to the special nature of the business.
