MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON WEDNESDAY 9 JUNE 2010 IN THE OLD SCHOOL, SCHOOL LANE, DENMEAD COMMENCING AT 7.30 pm

In the absence of Cllr Andreoli, Chairman of the Planning Committee, Cllr Phillips, Vice-chairman of the Planning Committee took the Chair.
025/11P Apologies: Apologies were received from Cllrs Andreoli, Hull, Knight and Smart.
026/11P Declarations of Interest: Cllrs Gibbs and Hallett declared a personal interest in the application relating to Alexandra House and Cllr Lander-Brinkley declared a personal and prejudicial interest in the same application.
027/11P Minutes of Previous Meeting: The Minutes of the meeting held on 26 May 2010 were submitted for approval. It was RESOLVED that the Minutes be accepted as an accurate record and were duly signed by the Chairman of the meeting.
028/11P Public Session: There was no requirement for a public session but Cllr Lander-Brinkley took the opportunity to introduce D/Cllr Phillips to those present.
029/11P Planning Applications: It was RESOLVED that the following comments be forwarded to Winchester City Council.

Matters relating to building developments within the Parish:

West of Waterlooville Major Development Area:
038/11P (a) Development Consultation Forum: A consultation forum in respect of the revised master plan prepared by Grainger PLC for the MDA is to be held on Thursday 24 June commencing at 6.00 pm. It was RESOLVED that Cllr Lander-Brinkley could attend as an approved duty.
Winchester Local Development Framework:
039/11P (a) SHLAA – Creation of Working Party: Deferred to next meeting.
Affordable Housing:
040/11P (a) Land adjacent to Old River: Confirmation of a date for a meeting with the Junior School was awaited. Noted.
041/11P Planning Applications: There were no planning applications for distribution.
042/11P Exempt Business: It was RESOLVED that in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 to exclude the public and press for the discussion of the following matter where publicity might be prejudicial to the special nature of the business namely Enforcement matters, Listed Buildings, Confidential Discussions and Tree Preservation Orders.
