Taylor Wimpey UK Ltd has appealed against the decision of Winchester City Council to refuse their planning application for Little Frenchies Field. The appeal is being dealt with by way of Public Inquiry. 

The Public Inquiry was originally heard on 16, 17 and 18 February 2010 and will continue on 7, 8 and 9 April 2010 commencing at 9.30 am. The venue is the main hall in the Denmead Community Centre, The Old School, School Lane, Denmead.

Denmead Parish Council is strongly opposed to this development and seeks to keep this area as a Greenfield site adjacent to the existing sports facilities in the King George V playing field and Ashling Pavilion. 

The Parish Council encourages as many people as possible to attend to make their views known.
